01 — Background

Hi! I'm Loudon, a UI/UX designer studying Interaction Design at the University of Kansas.

I'm passionate about design because it blends analytical problem solving with creativity. I enjoy designing user-focused experiences, refining interactions, and thinking critically about how people move through digital products.

Alongside design, I work part-time as a Behavior Interventionist with Foster Adopt Connect, supporting children through individualized strategies and compassionate care. This work has sharpened my ability to listen closely, adjust quickly, and engage with others in an empathetic and intentional way.

I'm also a lifelong musician and drummer, currently expanding into guitar, bass, and music production. Creating music has shaped how I collaborate, iterate, and think creatively.

Worked directly with individuals under high-pressure conditions, developing a deep understanding of how humans process information, form habits, and respond to environmental design. This informs every UX decision I make.
